GET INVOLVED

Cotton Australia has formed a number of authentic partnerships with retailers, brands, manufacturers and supply chain partners who share the industry’s values. If your organisation believes in reducing environmental footprint, the fair and safe treatment of workers, quality product and supply chain traceability – then we may be in business.

Cotton Activities for Primary School Students

These six hands-on STEM projects cater to various primary school stages and can be conducted either at home or in a classroom setting. Activities encompass a cotton hunt, design and creation, scientific exploration, and the deconstruction of a plant to examine its characteristics.

Aligned with the Australian Curriculum, Stage 1 emphasizes data representation through objects and drawings, followed by an investigation into living things. Stage 2 delves into biological sciences, focusing on differentiating living and non-living entities and understanding life cycles. In Stage 3, the emphasis is on design and technology, along with honing science inquiry skills through projects like the scientific investigation.
